Although the Island of Mauritius is relatively small, about 48 km x 68 km, it offers a diverse landscape.
From the coasts with their sandy beaches and rugged cliffs, to the plains with their lush green sugar cane fields right up to the plateau with its green mountain peaks.
And all this surrounded by the intense blue of the Indian Ocean.
Then there are the small, offshore islands and, above all, the stunning underwater landscape of coral reefs.
