Description of Le Prince Maurice*****
Opened in November 1998, Le Prince Maurice belongs to a new generation of top class hotels and is considered as one of the best in Mauritius where elegance of the past, heat and the best traditions of service are combined. Le Prince Maurice is situated on 60 hectares of private land completely unspoilt, sheltered from the prevailing winds and ensuring maximum privacy for its guests. Its tropical gardens consist of rare and luxuriant vegetation and the calm turquoise lagoon blends perfectly with the fresh green hinterland and the secluded beaches of brilliant white sand. A natural fish reserve in the western part of the hotel adds to the uniqueness and natural beauty of the location. For the interior, the designers have used stones and wood.

in buildings of a maximum of 8 suites with thatched roofs, 10 ground floor/beach front facing and 8 on stilts on a natural fish reserve (swimming not permitted). They have one bedroom with a sitting area indoors and a terrace or balcony, one bathroom with double vanities, separate shower, WC and bath. Junior Suites with connecting corridors are available
12 Senior suites (130 m²)
individual thatched roof villas, 9 with private heated swimming pools and located on the beach and three on stilts overlooking a natural fish reserve (no swimming pool and swimming is not permitted). Senior suites have one bed room, a living room with dining/sitting area with adjacent shower and toilets, walk-in closet, outdoor soaking bath and terrace

L'ARCHIPEL restaurant located in the main building overlooks the pool and the beach. It has three areas two of which are al fresco and very romantic. L'Archipel offers an 'à la carte' menu with light, spicy-flavoured gourmet food in a sophisticated ambience. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner
LE BARACHOIS - this unique floating restaurant is open for dinner and offers daily specials including grills, seafood and local specialties.
THE BEACH DECK - this restaurant for 40 pax is situated on a wooden deck near the beach. All the furniture is made of wrought iron. Le Beach Restaurant is open for lunch with an à la carte menu and special event evenings.

LAGUNA BAR - overlooking the main pool and facing the lagoon, Laguna bar offers a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy light snacks during day time and special drinks.
LOUNGE BAR - comfort and intimacy are ideal for before-dinner drinks and after-dinner temptations. Enjoy our signature cocktail "Splendour of the Prince"
