Le Val Nature Park
The trip to Le Val Nature Park is an adventure on its own.
The trip takes you through a hilly, lush green landscape.
The park itself is located in a valley surrounded by green hills and gives visitors the chance to become familiar with the flora of Mauritius. Time spent in the Le Val Nature Park is interesting and relaxing, but it can get very hot some days and the mosquitoes are often unpleasant.
The entire park has a population of mature trees that offer sufficient shade.
 On a tour around the park, for which you should plan at least 2 hours, you also find ponds where fish and shrimp are raised.
Flowers are grown in greenhouses. The park is populated by monkeys, deer, and giant tortoises.
There is a beautiful lake in the middle of the park.
Younger visitors in particular will love the miniature railway and boat rental.
