Villa Azur is a newly renovated and refurnished luxury villa on the beach, situated in a tranquil spot on the East coast, bordered by a forested greenbelt and a beautiful virtually private beach, ideal to relax and destress. The Coastal Road is ideal for walking/jogging. The enormous lagoon, protected by a coral reef, is safe for swimming and snorkelling. The beach offers white sand and clear turquoise water and is ideal for toddlers. We offer an exceptional swimming area with clean white sand and an excellent swim at both high and low tides.
ACCOMMODATION: We offer three spacious, double, en-suite, air-conditioned bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom has two single beds and the two upstairs bedrooms have double beds. A baby cot is available for the downstairs bedroom. The bathrooms have hot and cold running water in the showers and washhand basins. Bathrooms are fitted with high quality sanitaryware and glass shower cubicles.
The lounge is equipped with TV and hi-fi (CD player). The diningroom table seats 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas/electric stove, kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine, microwave, refrigerator with a large deep-freeze and hot water in the double sink.
A cosy bar leads onto a large covered patio with a large party table and benches seating 12 and comfortable patio furniture. There is a card table and a quiet reading corner with two chairs. At the end of the garden a thatched gazebo overlooks the beach and lagoon. There are lights in the gazebo, the garden and on the beach. Beach loungers and beach chairs are provided for your comfort. Beach towels are provided. There is an outside shower. The barbecue area is equipped with a stainless steel barbecue and eight chairs.
A double kayak is available on request (deposit required). Please bring your own snorkelling/diving equipment.
CATERING: An assistant cook is available at Rupees 100 per day. She is able to cook typical Mauritian dishes for your lunch and assist you with your preparations for dinner. However, should you wish to relax and try some other Mauritian specialities our resident Housekeeper will cater for you at market-related prices. We are able to offer breakfast only or full or half board. These prices will be quoted to you separately once we have an idea of what your requirements are.

WELCOME LUNCH/DINNER: A welcome lunch or dinner is included in the rates below for a minimum stay of 7 nights. A starter pack comprising tea, coffee, milk, sugar, sliced bread, butter, jam, toilet paper and soap is offered free of charge to assist you on your arrival.
DAILY SERVICING OF THE BUNGALOW: Cleaning staff will clean each morning and return for one hour in the afternoon to wash the luncheon dishes. Sheets are changed every fourth morning. Towels are changed every second day. A personal laundry and ironing service is available at a nominal fee.
BABYSITTING SERVICES: A babysitter is available for Rs100-Rs200 per night. Should you require a nanny to look after your children for a few hours every afternoon this can be arranged. Price will depend on number of hours. |
