Domaine Ylang Ylang
Right next to Kestrel Valley you will find the Domaine de l’Ylang Ylang.
This is Mauritius’s only location for the production of essences used in perfume manufacture.
The base substance for the perfume is distilled from the flowers of the ylang-ylang tree.
The plantation is open to visitors (and is at its most beautiful during the November/December flowering season), and a small restaurant is also available.
Of course, the perfume is also available for purchase.
